| Description: |
A 2.3m block of porphyritic dolerite from Le Nez Point, approximately 1km to the south. An excavation in March 2008 found that it has a flat base and stands on top of the property foundations. It is unlikely to have been transported 1km to be used in the construction of the building and is more likely to have been utilisted by the buiders because it was in the vacinity. It may have once been a menhir or may have served as the lintel of a dolmen. |
