Originally an 18m round, 4.2m high mound when excavated by the Société Jersiaise in 1915. Constructed of yellow clay the only finds were a small scatter of small stones thought to be ruined cist, one of the stones was a fragment of a quern. It is possible that the mound was nothing more than a more recent windmill emplacement. |
