Originally a 1m high mound with a diameter of 15m. Excavation in 1923 located four granite blocks and a paved floor of red soil. It was impossible to identify the form of the structure. Neolithic round-bottomed pots, vase supports and fragments of pottery were recovered from the paved area. A polished stone axe and flint implements were also found. Today the mound is largely covered by gorse. |
