| La Rue de Causie Stone |
Parish of St Causie |
| |
|
| Type: |
Stone |
| Date: |
Unknown |
| Description: |
Marked on the Jersey Place Names map as 'menhir?' this stone was removed from its location a couple of years ago. The owners keep the stone in storage. The stone is approximately 2m long and its lower section is straight and squared off suggesting that it was quarried for use as a gatepost. It is possible that the area of it's gatepost location remains undisturbed as it was lifted from the ground vertically. |

At the side of a field/yard off La Rue de Causie (Original) |
